About Baytette
Baytette is your personal cookbook. Build a recipe with photos, ingredients grouped your way, and step-by-step instructions with built-in cooking timers. Scale any recipe up or down by servings, convert units on the fly, and see calories and macros per serving. Add ingredients straight to a shopping list, and share a recipe to a friend with a single tap.
Your cookbook lives on your device — no account, no sign-in. The only time anything leaves your phone is when you choose to share a recipe (see Terms).

Baytette
Effective date: 2 August 2026
These Terms and Conditions (the “Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the “User”) and TheDev050 (the “Developer”) governing your use of the Baytette application (the “Application”). By using the Application, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. The Application
The Application is an on-device recipe manager. It lets you create and organise recipes with photos, scale servings, convert units, view nutritional estimates, keep a shopping list, and run cooking timers. Your recipes and all related content are stored locally on your device. The Application requires no account or login.
2. Data, Privacy & Recipe Sharing
The Application operates on your device and does not require an account. Your cookbook is not synchronised to any server.
The one exception is the recipe-sharing feature, which you invoke explicitly. When you choose to share a recipe, that single recipe (including any photos you added to it, downscaled) is uploaded to a temporary relay operated by the Developer solely so the person you send the link to can import it. Shared recipes are stored only briefly — they automatically expire and are deleted after 30 days — and are accessible only to someone who has the unguessable share link. No personal data, account information, or your wider cookbook is ever uploaded. If you never use the sharing feature, nothing leaves your device.
3. Nutritional Information
Calorie and macronutrient figures are estimates provided for general informational purposes only and may be inaccurate. They are not medical or dietary advice. Do not rely on them for any medical, allergy, or health-critical decision.
4. Licence
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, the Developer grants you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Application on devices you own or control, for your own lawful purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the sharing feature to upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content, and not to copy, modify, reverse engineer, or attempt to disrupt the Application or its relay service.
6. Disclaimer & Liability
The Application is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any loss of data, or any indirect or consequential damages, arising from your use of the Application.
